RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute on projects related to infrastructure operations across all areas: Service Desk, administration, maintenance, monitoring and operations of Windows and Linux, servers/desktop, VMware and storage system
- Participate in design and engineering of solutions across all areas: Service Desk, administration, maintenance, monitoring and operations of Windows and Linux, servers/desktop, VMware and storage system
- Supporting VMware 6.x and above, vSphere, vRealize Operations and Horizon highly advantageous
- Work closely with Information Security department to ensure compliance to information security audit requirements
- Ability to design and implement disaster recovery solutions and / or highly available redundant technology
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience with technology, design, delivery and support
- VMware and Microsoft Qualifications – VCP6.5 DCV or higher and MCSE are highly desirable
- Scripting knowledge of PowerCLi for reporting and automation
- Understanding networks, switches and SAN is essential plus and hardware knowledge advantageous
- ITIL experience is preferred
- Commitment to strong customer service and accountability
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
- 8 years working with implementation of systems supporting corporate business operation
